[Temeraire is looking much more put together than he was the last time he was on the network. He's also gotten better at working the 'Gear.]

Excuse me, everyone, I have a question for the people who have been here longer.

[He turns the camera around behind him to show a Druddigon and a shiny golden Charmander. The Charmander looks to be pestering the Druddigon despite being a fraction of her size, with the Druddigon carefully batting it away every so often. Then the camera is back on Temeraire, who lowers his voice and looks a little worried.]

Neither of them have gotten any bigger. Shimmer has only just hatched, so it makes sense that she is still small, but Reliant is at least a few weeks old and has not grown at all. Is that normal for Pokemon?

[He thinks a moment before adding, more to himself although it's still clearly audible] There have not been any cows or sheep for them to eat, perhaps that is what's wrong.

[Then he's back to addressing the camera at a normal speaking volume, and smiling a little for good measure.] I would very much appreciate any help.

[The feed lasts a little bit longer while he looks for the off button, but apparently he finds it because it shuts off.]

Yes, I should think it would be healthier. It does not make any sense, them having teeth like dragons but eating only berries.

[He shakes his head. He would add 'and kibble' if he had any idea what kibble was.]

Have you been here very long? You seem to know a lot about these things.

Berries just aren't very substantial. Some of my dragons find them okay as treats, but others refuse to eat them outside of battles and would much rather sink their fangs into a raw, bloody steak.

[Particularly his Garchomp. Darn brute's all about carnage, really.

As for Tremaire's question, Riku nods.]

I've been here for a few years, and so I've got my share of experience.

[Temeraire nods in agreement; raw, bloody steak sounds perfectly normal to him. Although when Riku says how long he's been here, his expression turns alarmed.]

Years? People can stay here for that long?

[HE'S GOTTA FIGHT NAPOLEON, HE DOESN'T HAVE THAT KIND OF TIME. He does believe what he's been told before about going back to the same time as he left, but even so. Years without his captain and his friends back home is not something he wants to deal with.]

They can, but that doesn't mean they all do. It's impossible to tell how long you'll stick around, but I'd say it's better to just go with the flow. Stress too much over going home, and your time here will feel like an eternity.

[Riku's actually enjoyed himself, making his time in the Pokémon world zip by. And even now, he has no immediate desire to take off.]

[He nods, still looking a little distressed.]

I hope I will not stay here too long, but I will try not to, ah, stress. [He's obviously not familiar with the term, but he's guessed it's meaning well enough. And Laurence would not like it if he were to spend all his time laying about bemoaning his situation. Although then he abruptly thinks of something.]

Unless, of course, Laurence or Maximus or Lily or some of my crew were to appear too, then they would need me here to help them. Pray tell me if people often appear here from the same worlds?

It's pretty random, honestly. There's a handful of people from my universe hanging around, but I've spoken to people who've been on their own for ages.

It's hard to tell when you'll find a familiar face, honestly. The only thing you can do is keep your eyes on the network whenever newbies start flooding in.
