???th Battle [FOURTH WALL]
[There's a new sort of dragon in Blackthorn City today. Or rather, flying above it; after being grounded for nearly six months, Temeraire is taking full advantage of his regained wings to perform all sorts of fancy dives and loops. And with him being several stories tall and weighing around eighteen tons, it would be very difficult to miss seeing him. A second look reveals that he's wearing a complicated-looking harness made of leather straps that covers from his chest to the base of his tail. There's also a large, platinum pendant around his neck, decorated with sapphires and pearls. Every so often he stops to hover in the air, bending his long neck around to rub the pendant with his nose. Around him, a group of six Pokemon fly: a Druddigon, a shiny black Charizard, a Dragonite, an Altaria, and a Flygon. Next to Temeraire, they look like so many gulls flocking around a ship.]
[Around midmorning, the joy of being in his proper form again settles down enough that Temeraire realizes that he doesn't actually know where in Johto he is. Or, more importantly, where Misaki is. So he starts flying lower over the city, hoping to spot her. But what if she's inside? Maybe he'd better call out.]
MISAKI! ARE YOU HERE?
[…and by 'call out' he actually means 'accidentally deafen the whole city'. Whoops.]
[If he doesn't find her in Blackthorn, Temeraire will pick a direction and start flying, keeping a sharp eye out for her or anyone he recognizes as he soars throughout Johto. He'll also have to stop and rest occasionally, in whatever large, clear space he can find. And since he's wearing his harness, he might even give some people rides.]
[OOC: For reference, here he is on a size chart (he's the black one). Comments will be coming from
dragonrights!]

...It's certainly been a while since he's seen a dragon that size, yep. Despite the yell, though, it didn't seem like this one was out to cause trouble. If only the same could be said for the pack of cat-sized dragons squirreling their way around Hiccup and screeching up at Temeraire.]

[He manages to only knock over one lamp post, and his Pokemon land wherever they can fit. Once he's on the ground he leans his head down. Fortunately, his normal speaking voice is much quieter, even if it is still a bit loud.]
Hiccup! It's me, Temeraire, I am glad to have found you. Today has been very strange so far.

Hey, Temeraire! You'll get used to days like these eventually...
[Hiccup's hand reaches up automatically, though it doesn't quite connect. Dragons. c=]
Having fun being a dragon again? I never expected you to be so big.

Oh yes, very much. I had missed flying so.
[He stretches his wings halfway out, and is clearly proud at the comment about his size.]
I am one of the biggest dragons at my covert, except for my friend Maximus. Does this happen often, then?
[Hopeful Temeraire is hopeful! Hands and cities are nice, but he'd like to turn back into a dragon more often.]

[After all, a downed dragon was a dead dragon, where he was from. That and flying was just better.]
We had a Seadragonus Giganticus Maximus in my world. That was the biggest dragon around, too, only it wasn't much of a friend.
[A universally good name for sizable dragons, apparently.]
It's happened three times while I've been here, and that's been about a year and a half, I think. It's only ever been a few days at a time though, unfortunately.

[He can't help but sound disappointed; he's missed this a lot, and another six months without it isn't something he's looking forward to. To distract himself, he glances back at the Terrible Terrors.]
Are those friends of yours?
no subject
These guys? Uh, no, not exactly... [Especially the one that keeps clamoring onto his head and digging his nails in. If only he weren't the only one behaving, generally speaking.] But they're from my world. They're called Terrible Terrors.
[One of them marches up to Temeraire and squeak-roars up, puffing out her chest like she doesn't know that if the bigger dragon took a step forward, he could squish twenty of her.]
