???th Battle [FOURTH WALL]
[There's a new sort of dragon in Blackthorn City today. Or rather, flying above it; after being grounded for nearly six months, Temeraire is taking full advantage of his regained wings to perform all sorts of fancy dives and loops. And with him being several stories tall and weighing around eighteen tons, it would be very difficult to miss seeing him. A second look reveals that he's wearing a complicated-looking harness made of leather straps that covers from his chest to the base of his tail. There's also a large, platinum pendant around his neck, decorated with sapphires and pearls. Every so often he stops to hover in the air, bending his long neck around to rub the pendant with his nose. Around him, a group of six Pokemon fly: a Druddigon, a shiny black Charizard, a Dragonite, an Altaria, and a Flygon. Next to Temeraire, they look like so many gulls flocking around a ship.]
[Around midmorning, the joy of being in his proper form again settles down enough that Temeraire realizes that he doesn't actually know where in Johto he is. Or, more importantly, where Misaki is. So he starts flying lower over the city, hoping to spot her. But what if she's inside? Maybe he'd better call out.]
MISAKI! ARE YOU HERE?
[…and by 'call out' he actually means 'accidentally deafen the whole city'. Whoops.]
[If he doesn't find her in Blackthorn, Temeraire will pick a direction and start flying, keeping a sharp eye out for her or anyone he recognizes as he soars throughout Johto. He'll also have to stop and rest occasionally, in whatever large, clear space he can find. And since he's wearing his harness, he might even give some people rides.]
[OOC: For reference, here he is on a size chart (he's the black one). Comments will be coming from
dragonrights!]

[Well now he certainly has to investigate. The voice is too deep for him to recognize, and the only other dragon he's met in Johto had said he was a small baby.]
Yes, that is my name. Have we met?
no subject
Yeah! It’s me, Spike! Remember we spoke over the pokegear?
Now I’m an adult dragon and not a baby anymore! This is great!
[He inspected Tem while hovering, impressed at how cool the black dragon looked.]
Is this how you usually look?

[He's glad to see his dragon friend! Temeraire inspects Spike back...while also trying to surreptitiously check if Spike is bigger than he is. Not that it would be a problem if Spike were bigger, he thinks quickly, but it is an important thing to know for sure.]
It is! Whatever has happened, this world has been very kind to let us go back to normal.
Sorry for lateness! Was on hiatus....
Me either! It just sort of happened. I was out in front of the Cianwood Inn, and suddenly I was looking down at all the rooftops of the houses.
But this is so cool! [Spike cautiously does a loop-de-loop, trying to make sure he remembered what Rainbow Dash had been teaching him earlier in the day so he wouldn't get disorientated.]
You're a really big dragon! Can you breathe fire?
[Although an adult dragon in body, Spike is still as excited as a colt and wants to learn everything from Tem!]
no subject
That is what happened to me too, after that flash of light. Except that I was in Blackthorn, not Cianwood.
[He gives Spike a dragon-y grin back.]
Thank you...and no, I cannot breathe fire. [He looks sort of sheepish about it. He'd like to be able to breathe fire, but Laurence had told him that it wasn't something his breed can do. But then he remembers the talent that he does have, which he'd found out about not long before showing up in Johto.] I can do something called the divine wind, though, let me show you!
[He turns to a stand of trees down on the ground below, gathering all the air he can into his lungs until even his neck starts swelling. Then he roars at the trees, a deafening sound; the trunks crack and splinter, and most of the leaves get blown right away. A few of the less sturdy trees fall over.]

Wo..woah! That was so cool! [Spike is sounding really excited and in awe of the older dragon.]
Do you think you can teach me how to do that? What was it called? Divine Wind?
[Spike looks down, inspecting the damage. It looked like Autumn in Equestria when all the trees had just dropped their leaves.]
All I can do it this.
[Spike takes a deep breath, and then loudly belches a large green flame into the air, sensibly not aiming for the trees. No need to start a forest fire!]
